Studio Legale Associato Della Berta was established as a professional partnership in 1997.
It is a business law firm with a multidisciplinary organization, active in all the main areas of business law and handles equally contentious and non contentious matters.
This gives the firm’s lawyers a broad view of the clients’ legal requirements and enables them to provide comprehensive solutions. The Partners are: Chiara Della Berta, Elena Della Berta and Carlo Cassina. The firm avail itself also of the collaboration of Pietro Cassina as consultant in Business Administration.
Our Team provides legal representation before the administrative courts at each stage of the legal process, including before the Italian High Courts. We also provide assistance to set up and start up Company or give support to customers interested in buying properties and company in Italy.

| CV | Chiara Della Berta graduated with honours from the University of Milan in 1993 and was admitted to the Italian Bar in 1997. In 1993 and in 1994 she won the prestigious scholarship of the Fondazione Bresciani Turroni (Milan) to deepen economical and financials matters. She served as an assistant in the Science of Financial at Università degli Studi di Milano from 1993 to 2006. In 1995 she worked as visiting foreign lawyer in a law firm in Wiesbaden. She is has been admitted as member of the “Ned Community”, the first Italian community of non executive and independent directors and she has been also admitted to the unique register in Italy of independent directors kept in the Milano Court. She has been member of Board of Directors of the company that manage one of the biggest European Casino and President of the ex 231/2001 commission. |
| Focus | corporate law, administrative law and advises on issues regarding public services, public agreements, city planning and building, bankruptcy and debt restructuring, environmental law. In particular, she handles the drafting of commercial agreements, general civil and commercial law issues. Moreover she assists companies in providing them with all related written legal opinions regarding risk assessment, realization, review and updating of the Organization and Control Model to be adopted to prevent administrative liability of the company as established by the Italian law decree 231/2001. |

In particular, she handles freelance work (such as project collaborations, agency agreements and relations with managers), drafting contracts and assisting in managing relations, and in juridical matters, she advises and assists employers in managing the employees (in all negotiation phases for the establishment of working relationships, right up to top management). |

He has acquired key competences in a wide array of projects, from strategic advisory to top management in leading companies to the development of business plans and commercial expansion strategies in small enterprises. In particular Mr Cassina focuses on commercial due diligence and support to acquisition strategies, definition of marketing and communication strategies and operating plans, design and development of new organizational models, vendor selection and valuation, change management and project management and assistance and support to start-up.
Mr Cassina graduated in Business Administration from the University of Bocconi of Milan in 1988.
